The father was a craftsman cabinet maker, a man who has always offered to its customers genuine products, choosing sustainable materials and paying the utmost attention to assembly quality and the finishing of its furniture. The son, Etienne Delorme, has learned the work of the father from an early age, and then do the other experiences and decide, later, to start his personal enterprise.
When it came to choose the name, the thought went immediately to Daniel, because this is the name that the father who taught him everything and that he has transferred the interest to the beauty and meticulousness with which you have to work.
Daniel is now a label under which to gather some of the designers and producers of talented, carefully selected from Etienne: each of them must share the philosophy of the brand, that is, to propose a style of conscious life, through a creative approach, imagining objects that are able to adapt themselves to a daily ritual, and to stimulate, in those to use them a moment of contemplation. To achieve this, according to Etienne, the aesthetics must be based on abstract shapes, lines, well-balanced, and organic influences.
In the past few months, during the second participation of Daniel at the Milan Salone del Mobile (Ventura Future), were presented the prototype of two new objects of furnishings that meet without doubt, the requirements from Etienne Delorme.

The vessel” was designed by Renaud Meunier, a belgian designer whose work hit thanks to the absolute simplicity of the design and materials. The designer-craftsman, Frédéric Richard presented the shelf Albatross, “an expression of our confidence in the assembly quality, as well as the first piece of our collection, which so far only included objects dedicated to the rituals of every day,” says Etienne Delorme.
From the many designs, the designer has been able to extract sublimandole, only the lines are essential, those that are at the core of the piece: it is a search for lightness that you can tell come from a process much more complex and refined. The solid central column of ash wood supports and underlines the stability to the shelves of aluminium, designed in various colors (white, black, orange, and green).
